Colley Whisson

Modern Impressionism in Action
Oil & acrylic

September 21-26, 2020 (Four Teaching Days)

In this workshop Colley will ensure that each student has the fundamentals to produce paintings with powerful light effects, loose brushwork and a sensitivity to the subject. Colley will be focusing his attention on tonal values, composition, brushwork, color saturation and paying special attention to the importance of edges. His workshops are conducted in a positive and uplifting manner. Colley will employ a step-by-step process which allows the best chance for all students to understand the way a painting is constructed.
