Emphases on design principles through showing differences, adding harmony, working with value, along with our feelings and emotions we will learn how to express in and through the artwork. As we get older, we grow more self-conscious and begin to judge our art. We might believe art is not good unless it’s realistic, this is not true. Collage, design and mixed media present an experimental atmosphere that is safe for all to find a deeper meaning to the art making process. Students collage works will be applied to watercolor paper and wood panels. Tack Iron method of adhering collage papers will be taught. Let us journey in vastness of our inner creative voices together.
