Fishing Regulations for White Sand Lake

White Sand Lake, Lac du Flambeau, Vilas County
(T41N R5E S27)

White Sand Lake is located on the Lac du Flambeau Indian reservation. Because of this, we have special size and bag limits.

Wisconsin residents and non-residents over the age of 16 do need a fishing license to fish on all waters in the state of Wisconsin.

Walleye:
There is a bag limit of 3 and a minimum length limit of 18" for walleye.
May 4, 2013 to March 2, 2014

Muskellunge and hybrids:
The minimum length limit is 40" and the daily bag limit is 1. This is true on all LDF reservation lakes.
May 25, 2013 to November 30, 2013

Northern Pike:
No minimum length limit and the daily bag limit is 5.
May 4, 2013 to March 2, 2014

Small and Large Mouth Bass:
May 4, 2013 to June 14, 2013 - Fish may not be harvested (catch and release only). June 15, 2013 to March 2, 2014 - The minimum length limit is 14" and the daily bag limit is 5.
